Jay Reatard's death ruled an overdose

According to reports, the death of garage-rocker Jay Reatard early last month was the result of an overdose. The Shelby County Medical Examiner in Memphis stated that an autopsy revealed that Reatard died from "cocaine toxicity, and that alcohol was a contributing factor in his death."



The 29 year-old, whose real name was Jimmy Lee Lindsey Jr., was founded dead in his home on Jan. 13.
