Alkaline Trio, NOFX, Screeching Weasel to play Riot Fest 09

The lineup and details for this year’s Riot Fest, an annual punk festival in Chicago, have begun to leak out thanks to the Chicago Reader. According to the Reader’s "Early Warnings" column, the festival will expand from three days to five, due to it being the fest’s fifth anniversary. Scheduled to appear at a variety of Chicago venues between Oct. 7-11 are Alkaline Trio, Screeching Weasel, NOFX, Dead Milkmen, Murder City Devils and Cock Sparrer; many more bands will be announced in the coming weeks. Five-day passes go on sale this Saturday at noon.
