Ariana Grande, Halsey hold top 4 spots on Billboard Hot 100

Women are dominating the Billboard charts right now as Ariana Grande and Halsey hold the top four spots on the Hot 100 chart.

This means that women in lead roles have spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the chart.

The four songs at the top are in this order: “7 Rings” by Grande, “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” by Grande, “Thank U, Next” by Grande and “Without Me” by Halsey.

The revelation was made in Billboard’s questions section when a fan asked about how often women hold the top four spots.

Grande holding the top three spots makes her the first soloist to hold the top three ranks and the second act overall after The Beatles.

The top four belongs to both women with no featured artists, and the last time that’s happened was in 2014. Those songs were as followed: “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor, “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift, “Habits (Stay High) by Tove Lo and “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.

According to Billboard, in “7 Rings” holds the No. 1 spot for one more week, women in the No. 1 spot will match 2018’s total sum of women at the top. We love the girl power.

Some of our other favorites also grace the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Those include “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee at No. 5, “High Hopes” by Panic! At The Disco at No. 8, “Wow.” by Post Malone at No. 9 and “Eastside” by benny blanco, Halsey and Khalid at No. 10.
