New Ariana Grande song isn’t about ex’s fashion choices, co-writer assures
Everybody knows Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were engaged—they adopted a miniature pig together and her most recent album, sweetener, even has a song called, uhm, Pete Davidson.
However, these days are long gone, because Ari is about to enter her goth phase and she's saying "thank u, next" instead of writing songs about her ex.
Ok, we don't know if that's exactly the case, but we do know that one of the songs off the singer's upcoming album is not about her ex or his fashion choices. We can explain.
Yesterday, Grande released the album cover and tracklist for her forthcoming album Thank U, Next. Besides giving fans major vampire vibes, they also couldn't help to obsess over the meaning of the song titles.
For example, track number 10 is called NASA. Do some people think the song is about the National Aeronautics and Space Administration? No, not really... they think it's about Pete Davidson.must
Is it "universally common," though? Either way, the important message remains: the song isn't about Pete Davidson's jacket. Good, now we're even more excited to hear the track and find out what it is about.
