'Arrow' star Stephen Amell shares his thoughts on a crossover with 'Supernatural'

Crossovers are a fan’s dream, and sometimes, they can even be the dream of the stars themselves. Just ask Arrow’s Stephen Amell.

It’s no secret that Amell has wanted to see a Supernatural crossover with Arrow for quite some time, and at a recent panel at Heroes And Villians Fan Fest London, Amell shared his thoughts on the possibility of “Arrownatural” actually happening.

During his panel, the moderator of the panel shared her thoughts on the matter, saying that the shows are too different for a crossover to successfully happen, but Amell disagreed with her point, saying:

“No.” Amell shares. “I mean, the reason that we do crossovers on Arrow is because Greg Berlanti when he was growing up, loved to see characters from one show, show up on another show. So I would love the opportunity to work with Jared and Jensen.”

While he would love to do a crossover, Amell revealed that he’s not sure what a crossover between the two would look like, saying:

“I don’t know how it would work, I would definitely come to them, as in I would go to their show. I would take a day rate. I’d bring my trailer, for sure. Let’s not mess around there.”

“I don’t know how it would look.” Amell shares. “I really don’t. But I would love to do it because ultimately we make the show – my show, their show – we make it for you guys. We make it so people can enjoy it. And I know that it doesn’t totally make sense to do a crossover, but fuck it.”

While nothing is confirmed, we wouldn’t mind seeing the two cross paths at some point, and it doesn’t seem that far off of the realm of possibilities.

Amell recently took to Twitter to share a picture with Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean Winchester in Supernatural, with the caption: “It’s the crossover we deserve.”

We have to agree, we think we deserve it too.

While Arrow is a show that has crossovers more frequently than Supernatural, that doesn’t mean the Winchester Brothers have never crossed into other universes. Remember “Scoobynatural,” the wonderful crossover with Scooby-Doo?

The CW hasn’t confirmed anything, but we can only hope to one day see the Winchesters and Oliver Queen on the same screen.

Be sure to catch Arrow when it makes its return to the CW this fall on Mondays at 9/8c, and Supernatural on Thursdays at 8/7c.
