Eyedress to join Joel Madden on Ep. 6 of Artist Friendly
Grab your favorite pair of shades and step outside with your headphones because Artist Friendly, the music podcast hosted by Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden is returning for another laidback and in-depth chat with one of the most effortlessly cool figures in indie-rock.
Following previous episodes with Josh Katz, Awsten Knight, and Carlie Hanson, among others, Artist Friendly is joined this week by Filipino singer-songwriter Eyedress. On the episode, which drops Wednesday, Feb. 22, Madden sits down with Eyedress to discuss migrating back and forth between the Philippines and the U.S. during his formative years, the various influences, both musically and personally, that have shaped him, not following trends, and more. The conversation comes at an opportune time, as Eyedress dropped the lo-fi punk mixtape COMMITTING CRIMES earlier this year and recently announced his signing to RCA records, along with the release of the Eddie Huang-directed music video for his latest single “Flowers & Chocolate.”
