Attila singer Fronz "formulated a business plan" to revive Warped Tour

We’re only a year out from the last time Vans Warped Tour did a full tour and less than a year since it ended but already Attila frontman Chris Fronzak wants to bring it back.

The musician hit his Twitter account today to say he wants to bring the tour back and has a business plan for how he would do it.

Although he hasn’t publicly said what his plan is, Fronz is well-known outside of music as a successful entrepreneur so it’s not unbelievable he could pull it off. The singer has also been a core part of some of the problems the tour was plagued with in its later years according to festival founder Kevin Lyman.

In an interview with Kerrang, Lyman discussed some of the reasons why the tour came to an end and pointed towards Attila’s presence as an example of the fights on the tour.

“And then people would come up to me and say ‘Well I don’t wanna be on ‘Warped Tour‘ cause Attila‘s on ‘Warped Tour‘. And I’d say ‘have you met the guys on Attila‘ [and they’d say] ‘No, I just don’t like their music. ‘suck my fuck’, what the fuck is that?’ I’m going ‘look we’re not here to judge each others music. The fans will judge each others music. Attila brings people. Do I personally run around singing ‘suck my fuck?’ No. Do you? No.’

But you know what… They’re good musicians and they’re not bad people. I’ve never seen them do a bad thing to someone. Some of the stuff he [Attila‘s Chris Fronzak] says, maybe, is just more stupidity [laughs.]”
