See Avril Lavigne get interrupted by topless protester at 2023 Juno Awards

The 2023 Juno Awards got interesting, as Avril Lavigne was interrupted by a topless protestor who hopped onstage and started strutting around while she was introducing the next performer.

In the video, you can see messages written on the protestor’s skin, including “The Clock Is Ticking 0745 Days Left” and “Save The Green Belt,” which references a controversial area in Ontario that developers have their eye on. Lavigne brushed the moment off, telling the protestor to “get the fuck off” the stage with a laugh before security escorted them away. “Now, nobody try anything this time. I’ll [mess you] up,” she teased later in the night while accepting the Fan Choice Award.
