See Awsten Knight tease a new Waterparks song while cutting off his hair

Yes, it’s true. Awsten Knight has said goodbye to his FANDOM green hair. The Waterparks vocalist hastily cut off the iconic locks in front of fans during a recent livestream.

However, a haircut wasn’t the only thing that happened during the stream. Knight also took the opportunity to perform some acoustic songs and even tease some new Waterparks music.

It’s been a minute since fans last heard new music from Waterparks. The band released their last full-length album FANDOM in October 2019. Since then, Waterparks have shared various remixes for both “Dream Boy” and “Telephone.”

More recently, their friend and tourmate DE’WAYNE confirmed that he is working on a collaboration with Waterparks. As well, Knight revealed that Waterparks’ “Live In The U.K.” DVD will be released by the end of 2020. So clearly, the band have been working on quite a few things this year.

Now, it looks like Waterparks are gearing up to possibly release some new music. Knight recently livestreamed on Instagram and he seemingly teased that Waterparks’ FANDOM-era may be officially over.

During the stream, he took the opportunity to cut off his signature green hair he had throughout the FANDOM era. As well, a new Waterparks song can be heard in the background of the video. Although the official song name is unknown, fans are calling it “Lowkey as Hell.” All of this could mean that a new musical era for Waterparks is on its way very soon.

The livestream, of course, caused a lot of excitement within the Waterparks fandom. Some fans think Knight’s haircut confirms the end of the FANDOM era while others are just confused.
