BABYMETAL drop distorted video for English version of “Elevator Girl”

BABYMETAL just shared a video for the English version of “Elevator Girl” that puts a twist on their live performances.

The video shows them performing live while special effects distort the screen and add to the overall intensity of the song.

BABYMETAL tweeted that the video was in honor of their full U.S. headlining tour that kicks off next month.

You can see the full video for “Elevator Girl” in English below.

The song comes from the group’s highly anticipated forthcoming album, METAL GALAXY. Along with the 14-song tracklist, the band recently revealed the five special guest collab tracks they have on the record.

Last month, BABYMETAL revealed how they would like to do a collab with Bring Me The Horizon. While that collab doesn’t appear on the new album, it still has some incredible guest-filled tracks we’re eager to check out.

The band recently announced their third LP, METAL GALAXY, slated to be released Oct. 11 via BABYMETAL RECORDS and Cooking Vinyl.

Preorders for the album can be found here.

While there’s no BMTH, the album does contain tracks featuring Tak Matsumoto from B’z, Joakim Brodén from Sabaton, Tim Henson and Scott LePage from Polyphia, Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy and rapper F.HERO.
