“This integration with Alexa offes artists a great opportunity to reach more fans in a new and exciting way,” says Fabrice Sergent, Bandsintown managing partner. “Bandsintown is committed to supporting artists and helping fans discover the best concert recommendations, and now with Alexa, they can simply ask!”

Bandsintown Manager helps artists and their teams publish and share events to their websites and social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat at the same time. Now, Bandsintown will publish artist events to Alexa as well.

Users can ask Alexa commands such as:
“Alexa, what concerts are in Chicago tonight?”
“Alexa, when’s the next twenty one pilots concert?”
“Alexa, who’s playing at the House of Blues?”

The Bandsintown app allows users to receive the latest concert information about their favorite bands. App users can set their location and sync their music library to get notifications from Bandsintown when their favorite bands are touring near them.

Users can also buy the tickets in the app and find information about the venue. If the location interests you, the Bandsintown app also allows users to look at a venue’s page to get information about the venue as well as see other shows happening at that location.

If that wasn’t enough, the Bandsintown app also allows artists to message their fans directly. So this partnership with Alexa is just the latest way that Bandsintown is connecting their artists with their fans.
