Basement announce summer dates in U.S., Japan

Shortly after announcing a surprise end to their year-long hiatus, and right on the heels of an Australian tour announcementBasement have revealed summer dates in Japan and the U.S, marking their first proper tour in support of 2012's Colourmeinkindness.

On deciding to return so soon, the band put out a statement saying “we genuinely thought we were going to be away for quite a while, and we didn't see any chance of having free time to do anything other than focus on our professional lives. We're glad that this is not the case. We are really excited to say that Basement will be playing shows this summer, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone again.”
