Ben Gibbard announces solo album, 'Former Lives'

Death Cab For Cutie mastermind Ben Gibbard will release his debut solo album, Former Lives, under his full name, Benjamin Gibbard, on October 16 via Barsuk. The album will be 12 tracks long and feature guest spots from Jon Wurster, Mark Spencer and Aimee Mann. Gibbard spoke to Stereogum about the project here.
