Memes about your favorite band are fantastic, but it's even better when they're the ones who share or make them.

In December, Nickelback fed into the memes the internet has made about one of their hit songs for years and created their own.

Nickelback released the iconic “Photograph” nearly two decades ago, but the internet has not let this song go by the wayside. Twitter, Instagram and TikTok are chockfull of memes and parodies of the rock track.

Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger and his fellow bandmates are not upset with this attention and actually joined in on the joke, too. In fact, the band even worked with Google Photos to release a “Photograph” parody that was definitely a highlight of 2020.

They aren't the only ones who love poking fun at themselves. Several scene favorites have a great sense of humor and posted memes that are hilariously accurate and clever. Check out 10 hilarious band memes shared by the artists themselves below.

3OH!3 also went with a Nickelback meme using the “I’m gonna tell my kids” format to show just how similar the duo look to the artists behind "Rockstar" and "Photograph." We guess you could say "don't trust" Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte if they say this!

Fall Out Boy's own Pete Wentz is always down to put smiles on his fans' faces. He shared a post where a follower Photoshopped his face onto Chrissy Teigen's face, along with a huge chicken nugget. Don't think too hard about the "why" of the photo and just enjoy this insane picture.

The Blue Album by Weezer is so iconic that they couldn't help but share this rendition featuring the "Fab Five" from Netflix's Queer Eye. One word to describe this meme: gorg!

The Maine

The Maine aren't strangers to sharing their funny side on social media. This meme involves a photo taken at the APMAs where frontman John O'Callaghan shares insane Kurt Cobain vibes. That means Pat Kirch is the Dave Grohl lookalike.

Panic! At The Disco

Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie is always a good choice for a meme. He shared this video of him scooting across the screen on a rocking horse to celebrate the new year. Hopefully, our 2021 involves seeing Urie again.

Hayley Williams

Hayley Williams made her own meme for how she arrives at the Good Dye Young office. Just like this sassy and colorful pup, she pops in with great hair and style. Self-awareness is always very important!

Bishop Briggs

Bishop Briggs shared a super wholesome Baby Yoda meme where Grogu is holding her 2019 album, CHAMPION. Honestly, The Child has great taste in music. These Baby Yoda memes will live on forever.

Corey Taylor

Slipknot lead singer Corey Taylor may have the dark and moody aesthetic associated with the metal band on his social media, but he did break it up with this meme. A fan took an animated potato template and turned it into a potato version of Taylor and his wife, Alicia Dove, with a little mask and black jacket, of course.

All Time Low

All Time Low seized the opportunity to create a meme out of their 2018 single "Everything Is Fine" featuring the cartoon dog surrounded by fire. Quite frankly, we've all been there, right? The band also recruited their fans to participate in their own meme template and shared some amazing fan meme submissions, including this kiwi meme and this cat meme.

Mark Hoppus shared this hilarious and incredibly topical blink-182 meme surrounding the coronavirus vaccine. This was one picture from their Enema Of The State photo shoot from more than two decades ago. Say what you will, but at least they're trying to be healthy!
