Best Coast to release "mini-album," 'Fade Away,' on frontwoman Bethany Cosentino's new label

Best Coast have announced a new seven-track album, Fade Away, which they're referring to as a “mini album,” set for release Oct. 22 via Jewel City. 

Fade Away follows 2012's The Only Place, and marks the group's first major release outside of longtime label Mexican Summer. The band's new label home, Jewel City, is an imprint of Kobalt Label Services, launched by Best Coast frontwoman Bethany Cosentino.

The record will include “Fear Of My Identity” and “What Have I Become,” two tracks previously exclusive to the Best Coast's Record Store Day 7-inchFear Of My Identity.
