Here’s why you won’t see Billie Eilish wearing Vans

Billie Eilish has taken the world by storm with her single “bury a friend” and most recently with “wish you were gay.”

Outside of music, Eilish is a huge fan of shoes, but you definitely won’t catch the singer sporting Vans. In the latest episode of “Sneaker Shopping,” she reveals what her favorite sneakers are and which ones she can’t stand.

In the video, Eilish reveals that she doesn’t like “girl’s shoes,” stating she prefers shoes that look bigger, chunkier and colorful. After saying she doesn’t like shoes that are “flat [and] low to the ground,” she goes on to express her distaste with Vans.

“That’s why with the Vans, it’s like small dick energy,” she says. “I don’t know what it is. I’ve tried. I see someone with Vans, [and] I’m like, ‘Oh, they got a small dick.’”

Guess we won’t be seeing her participate in the latest Vans Challenge.

More on Billie Eilish

Last July, Eilish revealed the meaning of her then unreleased track “wish you were gay.” You can watch the video here.

“I wrote this song about a guy that really was not interested in me, and it made me feel horrible, so the song is called ‘wish you were gay,’” she says in the video.

She also announced that a portion of proceeds from the first 48 hours of the track being out will be going to The Trevor Project, an organization whose focus is suicide prevention among LGBT+ youth.

The song is off her debut full-length album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, which will drop March 29. The LP is available for preorder here.

She’ll be going on tour later this spring, and tickets can be bought here. Check out the full list of dates below.
