Post Malone's metalcore upbringing and love for alt rock has been well documented, and while we were recently hoping that he'd perform a full cover of “Hey There Delilah,” Post decided to do us one better by covering a Green Day classic.

It turns out that we weren't the only ones that liked the cover either, as Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong tweeted out the video along with adding, “hey this is pretty cool!”
