Black Veil Brides to break up after Warped Tour, says bassist

Black Veil Brides‘ Ashley Purdy says the group will disband after their eight-date run on this summer’s Warped Tour, as reported by Loudwire. The musician made the disclosure on an episode of Another FN Podcast — hear it below.

Appearing on the recent podcast alongside fellow guest Jeff George (We Are Harlot, Sebastian Bach), the Black Veil Brides bassist tells fans that the forthcoming Vans Warped Tour dates will be “the last time” to see the band.

“We are going to do eight dates through the southern California area,” the musician says. “That is where you are going to see Black Veil Brides for the last time ever in your entire lives. So, you better fucking go, because that’s gonna be it.”

Black Veil Brides released their fifth album Vale earlier this year. But, according to Purdy’s recent comments, this summer’s Warped Tour show will be their concluding run as a touring act. “You better see us before you don’t see us,” he added.

The band’s posted touring itinerary also includes a performance at the upcoming Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California, on Sunday, Oct. 14. It’s unclear if Purdy’s breakup estimation excludes the scheduled Aftershock appearance.

We’ve reached out to the band’s management company and their record label, Universal Republic, for any comment or confirmation. We’ll update this article with new information as it becomes available available.
