Although coronavirus has canceled Black Veil Brides‘ tour plans this year, the band have been using their time in lockdown to get creative. BVB recently shared a Bruce Springsteen cover in support of Black Lives Matter. As well, the band are currently working on their next record.
In the meantime, while fans wait to hear material from their next album, Black Veil Brides are finally sharing content from the reimagined We Stitch These Wounds.
On Thursday, Andy Biersack teased the arrival of the reworked "Sweet Blasphemy."
"Tomorrow, we will be debuting the first piece of our 10 year anniversary re-record Re-Stitch These Wounds as well as a very exciting announcement," Biersack says. "A decade ago, I was just a teenager trying to find my way and meet like-minded musicians. I was fortunate enough to meet Jake and Jinxx and we clicked instantly."
Biersack further shares the importance and significance their debut album holds for him and the band.
"I can remember writing so many of these songs in the tiny Hollywood apartment Jake and I shared and tracking our own demos," he continues. "So to have the opportunity to take a look at these songs again and update them for the modern era of the band with Jake at the helm producing and mixing is a full circle moment for us."

For Black Veil Brides, Re-Stitch These Wounds isn't a replacement for their debut LP. Instead, the band want the new record to stand as a companion piece that shows how they have evolved over the years.
Now, fans are getting their first glimpse into the re-record with "Sweet Blasphemy." As well, the band are hosting an album release show livestream on August 1. The event is in celebration of the re-recorded album and their 10-year anniversary.
During the livestream, the band will be performing Re-Stitch These Wounds in full. The show will be broadcasted worldwide as the band performs at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood. Fans are able to purchase tickets for the album release show here.
Re-Stitch These Wounds is set to be released on Sumerian Records July 31. Album pre-orders are available here.
