blackbear releases "@ my worst" along with cinematic visual—watch

blackbear has dropped his new track “@ my worst” with an accompanying cinematic music video.

 The track and visual include confessional lyrics, characteristically well-produced beats and conflicting emotions at a costume party.

Since 2020, the singer has found himself featured on collabs with groups such as All Time Low and Machine Gun Kelly. It’s blackbear’s versatility and ability to create chart-topping tracks—regardless of the genre—that catapulted him into two award nominations in early 2021.

The new song is the latest to come from the artist’s forthcoming EP, misery lake, due Aug. 13. Released via Alamo/Columbia Records, the EP also features his previously released single “u love u” (feat. Tate McRae).

 In addition to his new EP, blackbear is also scheduled to go on a U.S. tour starting fall 2021, where he will support Maroon 5. The collaboration between the two is a long time coming. blackbear guested on Maroon 5’s album Jordi, where he featured on “Echo” and co-wrote and co-produced “Beautiful Mistakes.”
