BLACKSTARKIDS drop new video for "FIGHT CLUB" ahead of new album—watch
BLACKSTARKIDS are ready for some fun in the new video for “FIGHT CLUB,” and Alternative Press is bringing you an early listen. The track is off their forthcoming album, Puppies Forever, via Dirty Hit.
Alongside the new single, the trio also shared a stylistic video that exclusively takes place inside a gas station convenience store.

The song starts off with a verse from The Babe Gabe, whose unique voice gives the song just the right amount of edge. Then, Ty and Deiondre jump in to add the perfect contrast.
While classified as many different genres, BLACKSTARKIDS seamlessly combine modern beats with nostalgic classic-rock riffs. Though they pull inspiration from a wide array of artists, ranging from N.E.R.D. to Smashing Pumpkins to Weezer, it’s evident that BLACKSTARKIDS are paving their own path.
Utilizing a fisheye lens for a punchy effect, the video essentially shows the group and their friends having fun inside a convenience store. In aisles between sweet and salty snacks, the trio emphasize both their unique sound and their distinct creativity.

“FIGHT CLUB” is the latest music from The Babe Gabe, Ty and Deiondre since they shared “JUNO” at the beginning of August. Their previous projects, including 2019’s Let’s Play Sports and 2020’s SURF and Whatever, Man, were a trilogy exploring the Black coming-of-age experience.
BLACKSTARKIDS are supporting their Dirty Hit labelmate beabadoobee on her U.S. tour later this year, next to Christian Leave. You can find their tour dates below.
