blink-182 bring back ‘Dogs Eating Dogs’ to celebrate 182nd day of the year

For those that don’t know, June 30 is officially the 182nd day of the year. In celebration, blink-182 are bringing back their 2012 EP Dogs Eating Dogs.

The band announced on Tuesday that they “decided to press a limited number of Dogs Eating Dogs vinyl for the first time ever.” For one week only, fans can purchase exclusive merchandise for both themselves and their pets.

Release in 2012, the Dogs Eating Dogs EP is the last blink-182 studio release that features Tom DeLonge who left the band in 2015. Following its release, blink-182 did not put out any Dogs Eating Dogs vinyl pressings.

Now, in celebration of the 182nd day of 2020, blink-182 are putting out some exclusive Dogs Eating Dogs merchandise. For the first time ever, fans had the opportunity to own a limited edition pressing of the EP.

The EP is being pressed in limited runs of 2,500 colored 10-inch vinyl. Unfortunately, the vinyl pressings sold out instantly. However, blink-182 fans can still purchase some other Dogs Eating Dogs merchandise. The band have released various clothing items including a hat, t-shirt and sweatshirt. Fans can also purchase a leash, feeding bowl and bandana for their dogs.

Along with the Dogs Eating Dogs merch, blink-182 have been keeping busy over the past few months. Mark Hoppus recently revealed that blink-182 are already working on their follow up to 2019’s NINE.

Travis Barker produced Machine Gun Kelly’s forthcoming album Tickets To My Downfall that is due out this summer. Both Barker and MGK also recently released a Rage Against The Machine cover in support of Black Lives Matter. As well, a new song registered to BMI suggests that a collab between Halsey, Barker and MGK may be on the way soon.
