blink-182 drop the Chainsmokers collab track after nearly a year of teasing

Blink-182 are having a pretty big day as they’re releasing not only their Christmas track but also a collaborative song with the Chainsmokers.

The song’s official release comes nearly an entire year after it was initially teased by the Chainsmokers.

Prior to the song’s studio release, the two groups performed it live when the duo invited blink onstage at their stop in Los Angeles at The Forum for the World War Joy tour.

When asked why, Hoppus replied in a now-deleted tweet “We’ve been friends with them for a few years and have tried to collaborate a bunch of different times, but today our schedules aligned and we were all in the same room at the same time.”
