blink-182 aren’t the “Generational Divide” in short, punk-tinged track
Friday has finally arrived and as expected, blink-182 dropped their latest track, “Generational Divide.”
After teasing the end of the week release on Instagram a few days ago, the band has finally given another taste of their upcoming album.

Originally, blink dropped a few teasers via Instagram posts and stories, even sharing a short snippet of “Generational Divide.”
Now we have the full track, even if it’s not much longer than the previously shared clip. After Mark Hoppus revealed that the new record would be joke song-free, fan’s most likely weren’t expecting sub-minute track.
Nonetheless, the new song is a perfect illustration of Travis Barker‘s promise of a return to the self-titled album’s harder, punk sound.
However, we’re still waiting on music video, which should give more background to the pictures posted by Matt Skiba and the rest of the band, showing off a “punk rock closet.”
