blink-182 are teasing new music

Head to the AP Store for blink-182 vinyl and collectibles.

Last year, blink-182 reunited their classic lineup of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker, shared the single “Edging,” and revealed that a new album was on the way. Then they headed out on their triumphant reunion tour, and now it looks like more new music is finally imminent. They’ve updated their website with a video of a guy in a hazmat suit cleaning graffiti off a bathroom wall as clips of blink-182 play in the background, and at least one of those clips sounds like it’s definitely part of a new song.

The blink-182 fan account blink-182 Italia also posted a photo (originally shared by Reddit user am_dog) of new blink-182 posters in Toronto that appear to tease new lyrics: “Do I have to die to hear you miss me?/Do I have to die to hear you say goodbye?/I don’t want to act like there’s tomorrow/I don’t want to wait to do this one more time.”

Update: They’ve also shared this new teaser, which definitely has new music, and which seems to hint that we’ll learn more at midnight.

We’ll likely learn more soon, so stay tuned. blink-182 recently had to postpone a couple of U.K. and Ireland dates as Barker dealt with an urgent family matter, which he revealed yesterday (Sept. 6) was a “life-threatening emergency surgery” that his wife Kourtney Kardashian had to undergo for their unborn baby. He said it went well, and the band’s tour resumes this Friday (Sept. 8).
