Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge evacuates San Diego wildfire

UPDATE: Angels & Airwaves have clarified that their studio (pictured below) was not harmed in yesterday’s wildfire, and, most importantly, everyone seems to be alright. Read the update from the band below:

“Scary day at the AVA studio yesterday. One of ten San Diego wildfires surrounded the building. We ran out with computers and hard drives with all our music and a couple of Toms favorite guitars. We're happy to say that right now the fire is 60% contained and the studio is unharmed. Looking forward to jump back into recording as soon as the roads open back up. Giving a huge thanks to the SD firefighters who kick major ass!!!!”

ORIGINAL STORY: Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge  has been posting pictures to his Instagram account from inside the current wildfire that is blazing in the San Diego area. It’s not clear exactly where DeLonge  is right now, but he posted, “took this just before the evacuation” along with one of the photographs, which was uploaded recently. He also said “escaping” in one of the image captions.
