Born Of Osiris stranded in Oregon snowstorm, make local newscast

Born Of Osiris are currently on tour in support of their recently released album, the Simulation. While on tour, the band had the unfortunate luck of catching up to a massive snowstorm in Oregon that ended up getting them stuck in a Walmart parking lot for two days.

Luckily, the guys seem to know how to make the best of a dismal situation—while also snagging a little bit of local news airtime.

This apocalyptic snowstorm forced the closure of multiple sections of the I-84 highway, and since the band did not have chains on their bus tires, they were forced to stay put.

KPTV Fox 12 Oregon was covering the snowstorm and ended up giving Born Of Osiris a good chunk of segment time.

From making claims that they’re a “rock and roll band” to sharing how they’ve been passing the time, it’s obvious Born Of Osiris were meant to be local news stars.

“The Born of Osiris guys were ready for their close-up with FOX 12 Oregon ? ?” Sumerian Records writes on Facebook. “After being stranded in Oregon for a couple days playing UNO and wandering the aisles of Walmart, you can catch them back on their headline tour now!”
