boygenius slipped on their Canadian tuxedos and rhinestone nudie suits for their latest Alternative Press cover.

In the process, photographer Lindsey Byrnes had band members Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker put their own spin on a few quintessential images from the 2005 queer cowboy drama Brokeback Mountain, which starred Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger.
