boygenius announce new EP the rest
Our summer cover story stars boygenius just began their fall East Coast tour with a surprise: the announcement of a new EP. the rest is due out on Oct. 13 via Interscope (preorder on vinyl and CD). It’s a companion to and expansion of this year’s the record, one of the best albums of 2023 so far, and it was produced by boygenius, Tony Berg, Jake Finch, Ethan Gruska, Calvin Lauber, Collin Pastore, and Marshall Vore.
The full tracklist is still to be announced, but the first track is “Black Hole,” which boygenius debuted at their Boston show on Monday night (Sept. 25). The studio version hasn’t been released yet, but stay tuned.
