Brendon Urie on 'Kinky Boots': "This experience changed my life for the better"

In April of 2017, Urie announced he would be joining Kinky Boots on Broadway that upcoming summer.

“I’m very excited to announce that I’m joining the cast of Kinky Boots this summer on Broadway. That’s crazy to say because it’s been on my bucket list for the longest time, and it really is a dream come true,” Urie said in the original announcement.

The stint was obviously incredible and fans will take a long time to forget his performances, including an incredible rendition of P!ATD’s “This Is Gospel.”

Urie is also still really grateful for being part of the show, and has taken to Instagram to reflect on the experience one year later.

“Today marks a year since my stint on @kinkybootsbway and I still can’t fully express in words how much this experience changed my life for the better,” the musician wrote.

“But I love you all so much and I am so grateful to have been a part of it. Thank you.”

We’re not crying, you’re crying.
