Bring Me The Horizon are holing up together during the coronavirus pandemic and working on new material while Oli Sykes is tracking some vocals in their latest video update.
The band are giving video updates over on their YouTube channel as they plug away at new material and their latest sees Sykes recording vocal takes before going on a walk for some much needed fresh air.

Last week, the band announced they were working on new material tagged for a release tentatively titled BMTH8.
The new release will be the first new material from them since dropping their Music To Listen To… EP back in December.
Initially, they revealed the new project with an Instagram post followed by one from Sykes himself. Filmmaker Brian Cox also made a post discussing their plans as he is documenting their process.
They’ve been consistently providing short clips of them working from a home studio since the initial announcement.
Yesterday, they offered up a video showing them taking a pause from writing to have a bit of fun. In the clip, Jordan Fish crafts a fake mouse using a date, a bit of string and some spray paint to make his creation.
He quickly calls over for Oli’s mother, Carol, and chases her through the house while she screams in fear before realizing it’s fake.
After the prank, the band members gather together to keep working through new material.
Now, the band are giving another isolation update showing some of the vocal processes. In the clip, Oli Sykes is tracking new vocal lines while Jordan Fish takes a pic of his car before locking down to listen back to the mix.
After that, Oli straps on a pair of mismatched Adidas before heading out into the rain for a walk to get some fresh air.
