Bring Me The Horizon offer positive sentiment amidst Soundwave controversy

Bring Me The Horizon have responded to the recent Soundwave controversy in a brief statement, offering a positive sentiment of sorts.

“We're gutted to hear the news Soundwave Festival has been cancelled,” the band wrote on their official Facebook page. “Soundwave was without a doubt the best touring festival we've ever been a part of and we are sad to see it go.”

Yesterday, it was confirmed that Australia’s Soundwave Festival would be canceled in 2016 and 2017 due to “poor ticket sales.” News of the fest being in significant debt to various bands and outlets later surfaced.

“We're gutted to hear the news Soundwave Festival has been cancelled. Soundwave was without a doubt the best touring festival we've ever been a part of and we are sad to see it go. For anyone hoping to catch us we are sorry, but don't fret – we are working on our own headline tour to bring to you lot down under for sometime next year. It's going to be a special one, so we will see you there!”
