Bumbershoot music festival will celebrate 50 years with Sleater-Kinney, Jawbreaker, AFI, more
This year, Bumbershoot will return to Seattle to ring in 50 years, and today the music festival shared its 2023 lineup.
Going down Sept. 2-3 at Seattle Center, the Pacific Northwest event highlights veterans of the area as well as rising artists. Headliners include Sleater-Kinney, AFI, Jawbreaker, Sunny Day Real Estate, the Revivalists, and Brittany Howard, among others. The rest of the lineup features acts that span indie rock, punk, soul, and dance, including Descendents, Algernon Cadwallader, Screaming Females, Ride (who will perform their 1992 record Going Blank Again in its entirety), Matt and Kim, Temples, Destroy Boys, Black Ends, and plenty more. Additionally, more bands are set to be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
