Burger King is giving away student loan payments to customers
Fast food brands are leading a weird form of socially aware online branding, and Burger King is doing it again.
Last year, Burger King released a video explaining net neutrality but now they're offering student debt-cancelling sweepstakes.

Student debt in the U.S. is a massive issue with more than 40 million Americans collectively owing $1.5 trillion. Burger King's promotion will surely help a few people, but at the end of the day, it's still an ad campaign designed to boost their image.
Of course, a better option the company could choose would be raising the wages of their employees who are often struggling to make ends meet. Nevertheless, the company's initiative will help at least a few people dig themselves out of debt.
