Burglary stopped by 91-year-old ‘Boy Meets World’ actor

William Daniels, who played the legendary teacher Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World, recently stopped an attempted robbery. The failed robbery took place at the 91-year old actor’s San Fernando Valley home Saturday evening.

According to LAPD, the intruder attempted to enter the home’s back door. However, when the real-life George Feeny flipped on the lights, the burglar ran away. Daniels and his wife were both at home at the time of the incident.

“Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded,” the actor’s publicist says in a story with ABC7. “They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern.”

Boy Meets World co-star Will Friedle took to Twitter to share his pride in one of the world’s most favorite teachers.

According to ABC7, there is not a description of the burglar. Additionally, LAPD does not believe Daniels’ home was targeted.
