1. Charly Bliss release new song and tour dates

Charly Bliss released a new song, “Heaven,” which is the first single since their debut album, Guppy. It’s one of the first songs that Eva Hendricks wrote after the album, and she describes it as their first love song. Charly Bliss will also be going on tour with Death Cab For Cutie this fall, and tickets are available here.

2. Nightmares For A Week tease new album with title track

Nightmares For A Week released the title track to their new album, Celebrations. Bassist/vocalist Sean-Paul Pillsworth reveals the new song is about a cat that frontman Bill Manley had to give away. Celebrations is set for an Oct. 5 release via Boneshaker Records, which you can preorder here

3. All Get Out will release an album in November

All Get Out released a new song titled “Self Repair” from their new album, No Bouquet. The album is produced by Mike Watts (Glassjaw, Dillinger Escape Plan). The band will also be headlining a tour in November in support of the album. No Bouquet is available Nov. 2 via Equal Vision Records.

4. Afterlife sign to Hopeless Records, release new song

Afterlife announced their debut album Breaking Point will be released Jan. 11 through Hopeless Records. Additionally, Afterlife dropped their first single from the album titled “Throat.” The song dives into vocalist Tyler Levenson’s experiences with mental health and anxiety. Fans can preorder the album now and catch the band on tour with Cane Hill and Sharptooth.

4.Pale Waves cover Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa’s “One Kiss”

The summer single has been dominating the airwaves, and now Pale Waves have offered their own rendition. At BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge yesterday, the band covered “One Kiss” by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa for us to enjoy. Pales Waves just dropped their debut record My Mind Makes Noises Friday, which can be streamed/purchased here.

5. Calpurnia are going on tour in the U.K./Europe

Tickets go on sale Friday for Calpurnia’s first European tour. The band will start out their U.K. visit in Manchester in November and end January in Paris before coming back to North America for the rest of their tour.

6. Fit For A King release new music video for “Oblivion”

“Oblivion” is off of Fit For A King’s recently released album, Dark Skies. The song is described as being very personal and Dark Skies as a whole is about singer Ryan Kirby’s personal struggles. The album was mixed by Drew Fulk (I Prevail, Motionless In White, Memphis May Fire) and is available now at the band’s website. Fit For A King is also going on tour with the Devil Wears Prada at the end of this month.
