Cane Hill drop rousing new song "Lord Of Flies," announce new album—listen

Too Far Gone, one of Our Most Anticipated heavy releases for next year, follows the band's 2016 debut Rise release, Smile. “The content of the songs is a lot more honest and a lot more deeply rooted in how we genuinely feel about ourselves,” singer Elijah Whitt says of the new album. “I think Smile was extrospective, and the new album is far more introspective, as far as how we feel about ourselves as people, and less about worldly problems.”

As for the new song, Whitt reveals in a press release that “Lord Of Flies” is about “trusting the wrong person because you want to believe they're something they're not—whether the person convinced you, or you were just too dumb to see it. It's a mistake I've made over and over again.”
