Catch Pokémon in the real world with new game starting July

Nintendo confirmed Pokémon GO—the new game that allows users to catch ‘em all in the real world—will be released as a freely downloadable app sometime in July. The news came during the publisher’s Treehouse Live event at E3.

An extension device, dubbed Pokémon Go Plus, will also be released for $35.99. It’s a wearable accessory that alerts you when a Pokémon is nearby, so you don’t have to constantly keep checking your phone.
