‘Cats’ trailer featuring creepy ‘Us’ music is Jordan Peele approved
Yesterday, the trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of Andrew Llyod Webber’s musical Cats has dropped and caused quite a lot of mixed reactions.
The movie, directed by Tom Hooper, stars Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson and Idris Elba as dancing cats.

Also featured in the film are stars such as Rebel Wilson, Jason Derulo, James Corden, Judi Dench and Ian McKellan.
The cast sports CGI-enhanced fur to give them their feline features, which sparked a lot of online debate.
You can see the singing and dancing felines in the film’s first trailer below.
After its debut, people had a lot to say and, of course, quite a lot of memes to make. One of those memes circling on Twitter is an edit someone made of the trailer. However, they set it to the creepy song from Jordan Peele’s film Us.
The video went pretty viral, so much so that Peele himself even approved. He quoted tweeted it with a simple “Yes”. You can see the tweet and the edited video below.
