“My health has been on a steady decline for the past couple years,” Koehler wrote on an Instagram post. “Both my mental and physical state were getting hit hard, and it caused us to drop our tour with MIW.”
I've learned a lot of life changing lessons in the past 35+ days, and I'll be making some major decisions in life,” he continued. “I still have mends to make, and a path of broken hearts to heal, but for the first time in a long long time, I'm holding my head up high.”
On Feb. 20, Chelsea Grin announced they would be dropping off the tour because Koehler was “unable to surmount the rigors of being on the road.”
“When we consider the longevity of our band, this is the only choice,” the band wrote.
