City And Colour party under ground in gritty "Wasted Love" video
Dallas Green (Alexisonfire) has unveiled a new music video for “Wasted Love,” his most recent single as City And Colour. The song, taken from the singer-songwriter's newest album, If I Should Go Before You, got the video treatment courtesy of the renowned Director X (Drake, Kanye West, Justin Bieber).

As someone who primarily works within the realm of hip-hop, the choice to work with Green is a somewhat surprising one. Green confirms that notion to EW, where the visuals premiered: “I’ve always admired X’s videos; for my whole life it seems. I never really thought he’d ever want to do something for me, or with me, so it’s super cool to have him interested — but also to watch him work, and to see how he puts himself into the process.” Director X, real name Julien Christian Lutz, had some mutual praise as well: “City and Colour is the real deal. Real musicians, real music, and real fans. I wanted to create a video that people would watch and feel. ‘I want to be there’: That’s what I feel when I watch it.”
