Classic album covers without the deceased band members
After the sad news of iconic drummer Tommy Ramone’s recent passing, an image of the Ramones’ debut LP began circulating with only Tommy on the cover. As Dangerous Minds points out, eventually an image without even Tommy turned up, as the final member on the cover had finally passed. Now, a Tumblr has been unearthed of classic album covers with the deceased band members removed, using acts from Nirvana to the Doors. It’s a haunting, yet oddly effective way of paying tribute to musicians who have passed away. Check out the images below, and let us know what you think.
