See Claud’s Grace Kuhlenschmidt-starring video for “Every Fucking Time”

Claud has revealed that their sophomore album, Supermodels, is on the way, arriving July 14 via Saddest Factory Records.

The announcement comes with a new single that Claud says they wrote two summers ago in New York City. “It was hot and sticky in New York, so naturally I was spending a lot of time at home, overthinking everything… and this song was born,” they explain. Its accompanying music video, which was written and directed by Claud, stars Grace Kuhlenschmidt (Search Party, ZIWE), who doubles as different characters. In some scenes, she plays Claud’s inconsiderate partner, who sits on her phone while they clean up a mess in the kitchen and forgets to send the invites for their birthday party. Other times, she’s the enthusiastic drummer of the Every Fucking Time’s.

“The video wouldn’t have been the same without my co-star, Grace Kuhlenschmidt. We met on the internet early in the pandemic. I was a big fan of her comedy, and I watched every single video she posted. We quickly became friends and have been wanting to collaborate for a while, and I wrote this video concept with her in mind. Being on set with Grace was a dream come true because I got to work with my favorite comedian and a good friend all at once,” Claud says.
