My movie question pertains to the orangutan in the movie Cannonball Run II. Is it the same orangutan used in Any Which Way But Loose? Or was is it the orangutan from Dunston Checks In? —Craig Phillips, Union Grove, WI

Actually, the orangutan from Cannonball Run 2 was a very young Nicolas Cage.
 

I love the first two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, but honestly, where did they go wrong the third one? Did they decide that children can't handle awesome costumed characters saying “damn” and kicking everyone’s ass while buildings burn down around them? Why? I feel you, dude. If it were up to me, I’d insist that the TMNT movies stayed true to the graphic novel and were much more violent and less family oriented. It’s no secret that time travel themes dominated the movies of the late ’80s and early ’90s, so I’m assuming Stuart Gillard and company just tried to cash in on that trend, but wow did it fail. Cowabunga? More like Cowabungle!
