For Natasha Heinz, it was really not a phase: She spent 11 years paying shipping fees to read Alternative Press in her hometown in Brazil. Then, she moved to Ohio, where she is constantly cold but sure as hell the happiest she’s ever been.
Because she is a Master’s student at Kent State University and an editorial intern at AP, free time is a foreign concept to her. Still, she finds a way to attend every pop-punk tour that passes through Cleveland.
She doesn’t speak much at first, unless it’s about the Maine — or Matt Skiba, who she believes saved Blink-182. Once she starts talking, it’s impossible to stop her.
