Hey everyone,

A whole lot can happen in the span of three days.  So let’s take a journey back to November 17, 2012, which was the day that we finished the drums for the record at Red Bull Studios.

We had bigger concerns on our minds all day. We had to go and celebrate my birthday.  We really didn't know what to do until an old friend of the band told us to go to Sardo's for Karaoke.  We did that.  Another long-time buddy came out and met us.  We ended up singing some amazing songs.  Buddy sang “For Whom The Bell Tolls.”  Matt sang “American Saturday Night” by Brad Paisley.  I sang “Don't Look Back In Anger” by Oasis and “Standing Outside The Fire” by Garth Brooks.  Our friend Cody came out and drank so much, he ended up pissing his pants.  All in all, it was a great night before a photo shoot.

The next day we all woke up, donned our finest duds and drove somewhere else in Los Angeles to take pictures for promotional use.  None of us were hungover, so we were off to a really good start.  To make a long, boring story short, we all had a good time and took some good pictures.  After we did that, we all listened to music back at our apartment and went to bed.

The next day, November 19, ended up being a day off.  Our producer needed the day to work on drums and stuff so we took a snoozer and relaxed.   Dan rented a car and he and Matt drove around and did some star-searching.  They saw The Brady Bunch house, and that's pretty rad.  I spent time with some really great people, and Buddy worked on lyrics, literally screaming his head off all day in our apartment.  Then we all drank a few beers, listened to records and went to sleep.

Today we all woke up and did the usual morning thing, eating cereal and watching Robin Meade on HLN.  Then, around 12:30 we made our way to the Airport Studio and started to work on bass.  Things are going super-awesome so far, and we are all super-pumped to see this rhythm section coming to life.  Shaun's studio is full of all sorts of ill shit (pedals, amps, guitars), so we're basically kids in a candy store when it comes to the tools we are going to be using to fill out this album.  I just Googled Robin Meade's name to make sure I was spelling it right and the main search was “Robin Meade Feet.” What the fuck?

Anyway, I'll be sure to update tomorrow so you all know how much fun we are having.
