VersaEmerge Warped Diary #5
I can't believe there's only a handful of shows left. Feels like we just started, yet at the same time it seems like we've been in the Warped world for eternity. The crowds on the East Coast are always my favorite, so everyday this past week was a complete blast. There was so much energy and excitement from everyone really enjoying it. We recently had an off day in Nashville and helped pick up trash with a charity called Hands On Nashville. So many people came out, and it was amazing to do something that was so helpful.
The amount of trash was insane. It sat level with the trees because the flood waters were so high.
All the Warped people who helped.
Spitze (from Skullcandy) and I celebrating the success.
Most nights after Warped, I make my way back to the ampitheater and sit center stage to think and have a few deeps breaths. It's very calming and interesting to see it filled with trash, T-shirts, shoes, sunglasses and other objects kids lost while crowd surfing.
Myself, Cherie Lily of Andrew W.K. and Juliet Simms of Automatic Loveletter doing some yoga in the morning. Us ladies get together often for a nice stretch.
St. Pete, Florida, was my hometown show! Got to see friends and family. Even though it was raining terribly, dedicated fans still came out and stuck around for our late set. Felt the hometown love. 🙂
Billy Francis, the Cab's merch girl and my bestfriend/roomate, really likes to represent the U. S. of A.
Looks like Devin (our bass player) couldn't make it through the heat.
Iwrestledabearonce just joined the tour and they play on our stage. I love this band and love the people even more. Krysta is wild! Definitely check them out if you're coming to Warped.
BBQ in New York with Kevin Lyman and the Rev!
My favorite boys on Warped. All half Naked… Hartford, CT. Sweet show!
