“How Many Tears To Nurture A Rose?” appears on the band's 13th album, Existence Is Futile, which was released in 2021. The new music video follows those for “Necromantic Fantasies” and “Crawling King Chaos.”

Vocalist Dani Filth spoke about the music video in a press release. “This is yet another great video by director Vicente Cordero, encapsulating the occult essence of the song’s lyricism with great sweeping colorful strokes of total batshit-craziness,” he says. “It really makes for frightening yet strangely compelling viewing.”
