Crazy pastor says it would be better to drown children than let them read Harry Potter

Kevin Swanson, a crazed right-wing pastor, went on a bizarre tirade during this weekend’s National Religious Liberties Conference, in which he claimed that parents would be better off drowning their children in the sea than allowing them to be exposed to Harry Potter. “It would be better for them that a millstone be hanged around their neck and they be drowned at the bottom of the sea,” he said, (via Mashable).
