Last night, Creeper premiered the new “Annabelle” on BBC Radio 1. Prior to the release, they tweeted a tease of the song.

Afterward, the band dropped a second tweet linking fans to the official lyric video.

Listen to “Anabelle” by Creeper below.

“Annabelle” Lyrics

Annabelle we’re both going to hell.
You’re gonna love the clientele, the cheap rent and the climates’ swell.
Annabelle i’ve been drunk since half past twelve, don’t bring me down.

The world it seems to be ending constantly.
Between the smoking, drinking and getting high, i’d shed a tear if i could find the time.

God can’t save us
So let’s live like sinners.
Commiserations to your mum and your dad, my reassurances it’s not that bad.
You’ve got to live a little when their world just wants you sad.

Annabelle where the forbidden dwell, come lay me down.

The heavens are open.
The angels descending.
God bless you, undress you and this unhappy ending.
The underworld kids of the choir will sing
“Hallelujah! God has left the building”

Creeper announced that their upcoming album Sex, Death & the Infinite Void will drop this year via Roadrunner Records.

Speaking on the album artwork, vocalist Will Gould took inspiration from when he first found music.

“The real-life time travel that music can achieve is almost supernatural,” he says in a press release. “In a moment you can be transported from a bedroom in the south of England to another dimension entirely. With our latest album, we attempted to perform a similar magic.”

“The concept behind the artwork came to me when I was considering the ways I first discovered music. Both Ian Miles and I have similar stories of discovering our parents’ records. Holding in our hands these battered relics of the past, playing them for the first time and experiencing the magic of them coming to life over the speaker.”
